Martin Luther King Jr. Library

March 17, 2008

The title says all! Holy crap, that library is like HUGE! It’s “GINORMOUS!” That library, truly should be labeled, “Book Heaven”. It’s contains approximately 9 floors, filled with books, over thirty study rooms, and possible over 200 tables that would seat over 1000 people. Augh, just blogging about that library makes me want to go back and play with the elevators, run around, jump down fleets of stairs, and annoy the librarians by fiddling with books and replacing them with other books unknown to that specific section. As I sat on the 6th floor, looking out towards the view, it was fascinating. It was magnificent. The sun shining so bright, illuminated the roofs of buildings. It was a totally new concept to me, seeing this from a library. Of course, I had seen such views from my hotel room occasionally while on vacation, but this was different. I was surrounded by knowledge and discovery, and as if it couldn’t get any better, the sun shone on the buildings and the vast view of the windows was absolutely estatic, yet it kept me calm. Aside from being estatic, the view put me into a trance, and before I knew it, 10 minutes had passed. As I struggled to regain conscienceness, I pulled out my homework.

Phew, now that’s over, my day was consisted of profanity, most of it coming from me. I need to stop this bad habit of adding swear words to every sentence I make. It’s too hypocritcal because I always tell my brother that swear words wear down your vocabulary structure, yet I’m the one constantly spurting profanites from who knows where! Speaking of vocabulary, it is quite evident that I have quite a narrow vocabulary. Although this is true, I plan on searching for new and interesting ways to express my feelings and thoughts so that you, the reader, may read with enjoyment and interest. =P

After sitting for what seemed like hours, my brother’s friends booked a study room for us to enjoy ourselves. No, we weren’t doing naughty deeds, there were see-through windows. Ruined your imagination, no? xD. Moving on, we booked the room for 1 hour, but somehow the people behind us didn’t seem to want to intrude upon us, so we stayed for another hour, before the next group of people kicked us out. >:[.

After moving out of the room, the group and I planned some prank on my brother. The guys and I took my brother’s things and bolted from the room, and we tried to ditch him. Catching the next elevator, to our surprise, he was right there. One of the guys ran to the stairs and went down, while the other stepped into the elevator. I had pondered about calling my brother and telling him about what we were planning, but somehow I knew it would turn out okay. And, it did, as I had predicted. Immediately after our plan had been foiled, I burst into hysterical laughter. It was so darn hilarious! A flawless plan, completely ceased by one thin strand of sheer luck! My laughing seemed to drone on, because the girl in the elevator gave me a funny look. As I caught her glance, I noticed how long I was laughing, and to my embarassment, stopped.

The day was beginning to close, and I felt extremely hungry. Being indecisive is such a pain. It took about 5 minutes to decide where the group wanted to eat. After all that fuss, only 3 people ended up eating.

Now, at home, I sit here, on my ass, blogging. I have no idea how this post took twenty minutes to write, I don’t think THAT slow. T.T

Alrighty, it’s nearing 10:00 P.M., good night everybody. :D

First post. :P ~Flame shield on~

Hey everybody! It’s Edwin here, (Aka Mistah Jell-O) and this should be my first post, or blog, whatever you may want to label this “thing”. This week, like any other week, has went by pretty fast, as I recall. It really sucks when you don’t know what to blog about, but you blog anyway. As I am trying to fill this box with obscure words that may not make any sense towards you, make an effort to “decode” this message. Although I do not believe it has any further meaning to it other than what is stated. Or is there?

=D
